EBE — Electric Bike EU PLC · CKD assembly, Plovdiv

European e-bikes, in stock.

We started as a design studio and built the supply chain afterwards, which is why we specify a bike before we price it. Every model below is CKD-assembled in our own Plovdiv plant and on the floor today; the alliance of plants behind us covers what we do not hold in stock. One counterparty, one delivery commitment.

These are not a catalogue of things we could build. They are CKD-assembled, boxed and standing in our Bulgarian warehouse today. Add what you need to the request list and we come back with dealer pricing inside one working day.

Delivery capability, not just a price

A price is easy to get. What is hard to get is a supplier who can actually deliver the whole basket, on the date agreed, with the paperwork in order. We answer that in three layers: what is in stock at Plovdiv ships this week; what needs building goes to the Ebike Taiwan alliance of plants; what needs EU origin comes back to Plovdiv for CKD assembly. One request, one landed price per line, one invoice.

InquirySend a spec list, or forward the email you were about to send a supplier.
Quote ≤24hWe price every line — landed, in euro, with lead time and MOQ.
AllocationStock is reserved immediately; build-to-order gets a named plant and a slot, not a maybe.
Dispatch from PlovdivEU pallet, EU paperwork, EU invoice. Days for stock, a firm date for the rest.
Delivery & after-salesEU warranty support and spare parts held on the continent.

Build-to-order programmes run through the group catalogue: 30–75 days after sample approval, assembled in Plovdiv when EU origin matters to your duty position.

Why this is a delivery question

  • One counterparty, one invoiceTwelve suppliers becomes one purchase order and one set of documents.
  • We already know who builds whatThe alliance behind us covers frames, motors, batteries and brakes, so a spec goes to a line that has built it before.
  • CKD assembly inside the EUWhere EU origin matters to your programme, the build is finished properly at Plovdiv — full CKD, with the origin documentation to support it.
  • Your customers stay yoursWe never contact your accounts and we never disclose who supplies what.

The other half: 250+ parts and platforms

The Plovdiv shelf is what ships this week. Behind it sits the group’s own catalogue: hub and mid-drive motors, batteries in every mounting format, displays, controllers, hydraulic brakes and complete bike platforms — built on our lines in Taiwan and China and run by our sister operation, Ebike Taiwan.

You still deal with one desk. Add what you need to a request list, we route it, quote it and invoice it — you never manage two relationships. Tooling and own-brand programmes are available on an OEM or ODM basis, and EU-bound builds can be finished at Plovdiv so the goods carry EU origin.

The plant in Plovdiv

EBE — Electric Bike EU PLC runs roughly 3,300 m² of assembly floor at 21B Kuklensko Shose, Plovdiv. It is a working CKD line: bikes are built here from components, not unpacked from a container and relabelled. That is what makes the goods EU origin, and it is why we can commit to a European delivery date instead of quoting you a sailing schedule.

We did not start in manufacturing. We started as a design studio — with Red Dot, iF and Golden Pin awards on our own products — and moved into the supply chain afterwards, because the factories we needed did not exist on the terms we wanted. That order matters: we specify a bike the way a designer does, then we go and get it built.

Behind Plovdiv sits the Ebike Taiwan alliance of plants — the Tucheng battery and e-bike factory, PJ TECHNO in Taichung, the MXUS motor works, GEMMA hydraulic brakes and the Kunshan pack facility. That is the capacity that lets us answer a delivery question instead of passing it along. Audits and factory visits are welcome.

Questions buyers actually ask

Where do the bikes ship from?

From our own plant at 21B Kuklensko Shose, Plovdiv, Bulgaria. In-stock models leave in days rather than on a 30–75 day production schedule, and they carry EU origin.

Do you actually assemble, or do you import and relabel?

We assemble. Plovdiv is a CKD line — bikes are built from components on our own floor, which is what confers EU origin and what lets us hold stock. We are a manufacturer with a design studio behind it, not an agent, and the Ebike Taiwan alliance of plants covers the parts and platforms we do not build in Bulgaria.

Where does origin come from, and can you document it?

From the CKD assembly work done at Plovdiv, not from a change of address. We keep the bill of materials, the assembly records and the origin documentation for every batch and hand them over with the shipment — your customs broker will ask, and a vague answer costs you time at the border. For context: Chinese-origin e-bikes carry anti-dumping duties of 9.9%–70.1% by exporter and 62.1% for all others under Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/120, with countervailing duties of 3.9%–17.2% on top.

Why is the news free when others charge for it?

Because we are not a publisher. We earn on the assembly line and the sourcing desk, so the brief costs you nothing and carries no advertising. If it makes you think of us the next time you need 300 bikes, it has paid for itself.

Can I get dealer pricing?

Yes, per account and by volume. We publish RRP openly and never publish dealer prices — send a request with models and quantities and you get real figures within one working day.

Which certifications do the bikes hold?

EN 15194:2017+A1:2023, the enforced EPAC standard since 23 August 2025, with EN 50604-1 for batteries and EN 13849 for control-system functional safety — the last of which most suppliers cannot demonstrate. Cells to IEC 62133, transport documentation to UN38.3.
